These Euros are wank. Dreadful game after dreadful game. Cannot understand it tbh.

With 3rd place teams qualifying to the knock out round, weaker teams could sneak through getting a few draws. So they are playing more defensively? Recent success of teams like Leicester and Atletico Madrid, defending deep/ceding possession, have shown how 'weaker' teams can combat 'stronger'/more proactive teams?

Looking forward to England v Wales tomorrow. They share a rivalism in rugby, so I imagine they also do in football. 

I am hoping Gareth Bale can get on the scoresheet for England. 

England v Wales at 1am... Rambo v Jack... for those who are keen, I know D4 is open right through.

Italy have been the most impressive for me. Determination plus flair when needed.

France through with a game to spare. Will top the group with a draw or better against a fairly limited Swiss side. 

And yes, definitely looking forward to England v Wales at 2pm. Offices in the City of London are going to be fairly empty...

God that Germany v Poland game was absolutely dire.

I feel like the universe cheated me out of 4 hours of my life today. England/Wales was awful (but engrossing because Wales gave it such a good nudge). Germany/Poland was just awful.

Vintage Italy though, great defending with the impenetrable all-Juventus backline and a goal outta nowhere in the 88th minute from Eder. Is there a rule or something to only score goals after the 87th minute this tournament? So many late goals!

Late goal notwithstanding, Italy-Sweden is the worst game I've watched so far (well over 50% of games, although I did miss Germany-Poland, which I hear was a stinker). 

Well, the direness of Sweden's attack in combination with Italy's complacency to sit back as well as a lack of any decent Italian strikers these Euros was never going to equate into anything aesthetically pleasing.

And so it proved.

OK, so who was in the Croatian end throwing flares?

Hard to believe Croatian fans would do that at that stage.

What a bunch of dumb arses some of those Croatian supporters are!!!!  There side has played really well, leading 2-1 and only a few minutes to play and they fans start throwing flares onto the field...probably about 8 or 9. The games stops while the officials clear them up and then a explosive cracker gets thrown at an official. Ref calls everyone to the side line. Croation players run to quiet the fans down.

Game restart after a 8 min break. You can see the Croatian players are rattled. Long ball into the Croation box, hits defenders hand, penalty and it finishes 2-2. What a heartbreaker for the Croatian team. They played really well and scored two great goals. THe shot stats were something like 17 to 2 to Croatia

There will be more about this.UEFA will come down hard on Croatia. They will definetly get fined and they could lose points. Sometimes you wonder about the mentality of some football fans. 

Absolute muppets with the flares then fighting amongst themselves looool.

It was brilliant to see them drop points, especially after they had dominated the Czechs so hard for the first hour or so!

If correct that is a shame.
