ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

iim gutted i so wanted scotland in instead of either france or italy they were in such a good position too.

As much as it pains me to say, but the Italians can quite rightly claim that Fergusons equalising goal was offside (I initially didn't think so, but seeing a replay on footytube- Fergies a half step offside when the initial shot from Faddy? comes in), and there wan't much wrong with the goal that they scored that was ruled offisde.

After calming down a bit from yesterday, losing to Georgia was the big disgrace - having to go into the last game expecting to beat the world champions was always a bit unrealistic, albeit typically Scottish.

Yet again we get to revel in the glorious failure that is Scottish football - once - just oncew I'd like us to do it the easy way!

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

The offside with ferguson is so close, i dont see how the lineman  could pick it up.
 
and yes, another glorious failure.. lets hope we do better for wc2010

Apparently we were quite blase in Macedonia...some people back in CRO thinking that we're trying not to get the top seed for the finals tournament. Don't know what to expect from the game against England, we might not try too hard again.

Bottom line is, poor decision  or not, we would only have drawn and we'd still have need the Ukraine to beat France. Which isn't going to happen. As others have said, another one to add to the long list of glorious Scottish failures.
 
BTW sorry I didn't get along to watch the game on Sunday morning lads. Did wake up in time but stupidly went for the "I'll just have another 15 minutes kip then I'll get up" manoeuvre. The rest is history

Just as well - Got to the Irish Society at 5:50am, boy comes to open the bar at 5:55am  - put TV on - hear him mention that "I don't have ESPN!" - confirm by Dave B 5 mins later, mad dash back to a boys hoose in Wilton to get in for the game at the 13min mark.

the "pitch" (watery sludgey mud bucket with two goal posts) in "macedonia" was pretty sh*t man, I would not have been suprised if the game was postponned due to the conditions. Plus im sure there are a lot of Croatian hooligans who would love a crack at the POMS

yes the free-kick was'nt true,but,scottish goal was irregular and the referee had cancelled the second goal of Di Natale(regulaur)

italy deserved the win..
 
di natale's goal dissallowed, italy's final goal shouldnt have been a foul (cancel each other out)
 
ferguson was offside so that should've been dissallowed, possible handball penalty
 
even factoring in the handball penalty alleged scotland would have 1 goal (given they scored from the penalty) and italy 2 (toni and di natale) so if justice was served regarding those decisions then italy still would have won.
