8-0! what a result, all the players played great, Benayoun had an amazing game, worked hard for every ball, Voronin and Gerrard combined for a beautiful one-two for Gerrard to score his goal, and Babel after coming on as a sub first scored with a stunning goal, and then scored with his back (lol), came close to getting a hat-trick, had the goal at his mercy but alas it hit the post.

Well done Liverpool!!

Can't wait to watch the replay, sounds like it'll be a 90 minute highlights reel.

Porto defeating Marseilles certainly didn't help you guys. You're going to have to beat Porto at home and then Marseilles away to stand any chance of making it out of the group.

yea ... Porto at home looks more promising than Marseille away, although I'm sure we can overcome the odds , although if we beat Porto and Marseille lost their next game, then Marseille vs Liverpool is a drawn game , then we may go through on Goal Difference

I doubt Marseilles would do any worse than a draw at Besiktas but you never know. You guys got turned over there.
