Fantastic game to watch this morning, right down to penalties. Daniel Cousin was a muppet for getting sent off but that Liverino guy got his ass kicked by karma for holding his head like a girl by missing the penalty.

what a joke rangers are. 9 man defence the whole game, pathetic performance.
what has happened to vieri, had 3 or 4 chances im sure he would usually bury, not to mention his penalty miss. mutu was a class act i thought.
will be well and truly cheering for zenit come the final, such a negative and weak effort from rangers.

Glad I did not get up for this one with Rangers playing there piss poor 9 man defence.. Caught the extra time and the pens. Well done Rangers for getting to the final - good for Scottish football.

im a gers fan and i think its amazing we are in the UEFA Cup Final, 36 years was too long to wait to get to a european final!
anyways you cannot say we dont deserve to be there after beating panathanikos, werder bremen, sporting lisbon and now Fiorentina (not to mention stuttgart, lyon and a draw with barca in the champions league).
and scottish bhoy its an all rangers final as dick advocaat (zenit boss) was the gers boss a few years ago!

Give Rangers a break. Don't just conlude they are a boring team because of one tricky away game in Italy in the uefa cup quarters. They've played some good, exciting football as well this season.

What? What planet have you been on? They played out 3 0-0 draws at home in the UEFA Cup (Panathinaikos, Sporting Lisbon, Fiorentina), and approached every single game with a bunker-mentality of defending the with 10 men and hoofing the ball up the field in hope of a goal.
Incredible really that they've made it so far with such negative play, but I guess that's cup football. Every once and a while an awful team makes it through....

A lot of other good teams have also had their fair amount of dull games. Ok, Rangers haven't been great in Europe this season - but still some good results as well. Beating Stuttgart, and beating Lyon 3-0.
Even if they have been negative, that doesn't make them an awful team. They have good players, and I think they do have the ability to turn it on. We might just see that a bit more in the final.

Well, I guess they're not an awful team, but I'm just very surprised that they'ev got through so far when more talented teams have failed.
Good on them in the end I guess, but I'll still be cheering for the Ruskies in the final. At least they try to score goals regardless of who they play.
