Ive been trying to contact the Italian Club (Garabaldi), otherwise not sure if Island Bay Soccer club rooms will be showing the game !!!!!

what time (NZ) is this game, i assume its on ESPN or are you jokers streaming it live of the net???

I can only assume that the ref interpreted the linesmans flag for a Italy throw-in as indicating which way the foul shoul g0, no way on god's green earth was that a foul on the Italian player.

But it went exactly to script - I've been telling folk all week - knowing Scotland, always snatching defeat from the jaws of victory - and the way the Italians always fluke their wins - that it would be a late goal for Italy to give them the win.

But as Fergie would say 'I'm pwoud, vewy pwoud of the boys'

Hopefully England don't make it either so we have the Home Nations tournament next year!

Hard luck though, totally understand when some of the players say 'we were robbed'. Unreal decision at the end there and i do feel a bit for ya cause you did fight right till the death and i f**king hate Italian football!!!

Gutted for Scotland. Even got up for them. They put the Italians under pressure in the second half, but given the goal that should have been and the one that shouldnt, a reasonably fair scoreline. Let's not forget, Italy won the World Cup less than 18 months ago. They're handy.
 
Still, these are mighty times for Scottish football. They have a damn competitve side for the first time in 15 years and will have a really good show at World Cup qualification. Their club sides are also on the rise, both in Europe and the general standard of the SPL.
