The mighty(ish) fall..

Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

The first time I saw Barcelona play was in 1996. They beat Logrones 8-0.
I'd never heard of Logrones until that afternoon. Today I was just looking at some photos I took during the match and wondered where Logrones were now...

At the end of the 2007-2008 season, CD Logro��s was relegated to 3rd division due to substantial outstanding salary commitments, in spite of the club's 13th place finish in 2�B the prior season. Financial troubles continued into the first weeks of 2009 as the only 9 players took the field for its 4 January 2009 match against CD Arnedoto protest still overdue payments. This was CD Logro��s' last match in Tercera Divisi�nas they were not present in their next match against CD Tede�n and they were therefore retired from the competition and consequently relegated to Regional Preferente de La Riojaby the LFP.

All jokes aside, he was looking pretty fine for a youngster a couple of years ago, that is pretty sad.
You know we belong together...
