Upper Hutt Community Visit

Come down to Whirinaki Whare Taonga to experience the magic of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. You can pose with the Original Trophy on its FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Trophy Tour, join in on some football activities and hang out with Tazuni. Freestyle Footballer Lia Lewis will also drop by to lead some of her unique skills and drills.
Porirua Community Visit
Thu 13 July: 12.30–2pm
Te Rauparaha Arena, 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua City Centre, Porirua
Join Lia Lewis and Tazuni at Te Rauparaha Arena as they join Wests Football Club in some football activities. Grab a snap with the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Original Trophy.
Well_ngton Sign Photo Op and Free Club BBQ
Fri 14 July: 10am-12pm
Waterfront, Te Papa Promenade
It’s time to put the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Original Trophy “in” Wellington by utilising the iconic sign. Come down to the Well_ngton Sign on Te Papa Promenade to have your photo taken with the Trophy. While you’re there, enjoy some Wellington hospitality with a free BBQ* run by Capital Football and local Wellington Clubs.

Public Viewing at Akau Tangi
Fri 14 July: 3-4pm
Ākau Tangi Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington
Pop down to Akau Tangi in Kilbirnie this Matariki to have your photo taken with the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Original Trophy.
Wakefield Park Club Football Visit
Sat 15 July: 10.30am–12.30pm
Wakefield Park, Adelaide Road, Island Bay, Wellington
Come for the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Original Trophy but stay to watch incredible women’s football. The trophy and Tazuni will visit Wakefield Park in Island Bay ahead of the Wellington United Diamonds v Manawatu Knitting Mills PN Marist FC match in the Ultra Football Women’s Central League. This is the highest league available for girls/women in Wellington.
