Okay, so the retro thread died a quick death, haha...does anyone play any of the football board/card games?
I'm talking anything from Subbuteo to more modern ones, like The World Cup Card Game 2010...anything without a digital screen, really!

I was talking about games like The World Cup Game, The World Cup Card Game 2010, Subbuteo, and so on. Essentially, modern board/card games based around a football theme. :)

I've never played subbuteo, but always wanted to. How much do the sets cost? And how long does it take to play a game?
on trade me they seem to go for between $50.00 - $100.00
you can decide how long you want to play for,if two people are both good a longer game is better, but if one person is good and the other not so then a short game is cool.
i have a spare subbuteo set up at the moment if you are interested would let it go for $60.00 to pay for my trip to the phoenix on sunday.

Thanks for the offer - very kind - but we're on the tightest of budgets at the moment courtesy of having our income halved and our costs doubled. (In other words, we have a child...lol...)
