After my 3rd season with Newcastle I thought it was time to pack in, I hadnt done to much wonders with them.

Im now with the Phoenix after they offered me a job.

Hmmm, im with phoenix, 1st season 2nd last game, already won it since im 9 points clear, also im spains manager, any idea how to win the euro with em, then leave em for NZ?

Also, does anyone have any idea how to offer your sons a youth contract, since at the start it says " If your son plays in a club you can offer them to play in your youth team throughout the course of the game"?

I'm not sure. My kid is only 1 and shes a girl so I wont have that problem.

Although my wife has told me shes pregnant so lets hope its a boy.

hey, ur on lonegunmen, can u plz tell me what to do after a season has finished, i won 9 points clear, all my guys are on holiday and i cant book anything? for like 5 or 4 months??

Nah you just have to wait. Thats the worste part of being in the A-League.

Oh and LG yeah I did have fun untill we got smashed by China. I hope New Zealand make it in 2014.

See you can get to Manage NZ, but it's an issue on the official EA messageboard. Currently only being allowed to choose from European countries only. Doh!

Not much to do in the close season of the A-League. God knows what we are going to do on ere when the real season finishes.

not sure aye, but in database editer go to Club Settings then there should be strip and u can make it i think, if im player manager and get picked to play for NZ do i get to control him?

You guys downloaded the patch? I'm playing it in 1680 x 1050 and it looks great, there are more features in that version and with the patch.

The patch i found in the forum, wouldnt install because i had a no-CD key, I,ll reinstall the game if the patch does what i want it to, Other wise I,ll just keep on playing.

Yeah same with me. I just re-installed it, it doesnt make you lose your saved games.

i downloaded the patch, its good, it puts ya sons into youth team automatically if their 10+, also better scouting like u can get ur scout to keep an eye on one particular player. and fixed a few things up.

top right hand corner of your screen is a new battery symbol so if you're on a laptop and running on batts it tlls you your strength.

The scout screen is more indepth and different than before the patch. heaps better.

Nope, go under "private life" and there's a button called quiz training. It's a football quiz that can earn you some dosh!

yes, it's based around your game, not the real world. In that who's leading a division in your game, not who is in the real world. Means you have to really study your game.

Yep, I got 8/14 right before I bombed, you can try the quiz as often as you like too! It takes a while to load because it's getting the information of your game not some preset answers from the real world.

I'm still playing the 2004 version, but Mrs Wolf called from Thailand today and I'm getting FM 08 as a late Xmas present. Just 3 more weeks and i'll finally be able to manage the Phoenix and Gyeongnam, neither of whom existed way back then.
