I am a reviewer for the datebase team for this game so I get to "review" the stats for teams in the game. Although I can't reveal any stats feel free to leave any suggestions that I will past on to the editors or stats improvements based on Fifa 09.
How do I get a job like that??
Like.. Seriously.

Me too!
Let me know when or if, you get an e-mail back from them. I will do the same for you.

Also if you don't get it, right after FIFA 09 was released last year I applied as they were in demand for reviewers then so if you don't get it wait till around that time to reapply.
I think you have to choose three teams you support when you apply what three did you guys choose?
Only one team was mandatory, the rest optional so I chose the Phoenix(obviously). How long did it take you to get a reply saying you were accepted?
As for stats, where do I begin? Does it need to be Phoenix specific or can I get into Arsenal guff?
Sounds like something i'd normally go for, but i've got WAY too much on the plate already!
You only have to apply for one team, but there is an option for applying for another two.
You can ask for other teams if you get it.
Grrr. I should have put New Zealand down as a second team. Ah well.
Which producer, MMM?
The Producer emailed me apologizing that during his hectic week he forgot to email me concerning what teams I would review. He asked if I would do all of A-League and NZ national team. I accepted. Am awaiting my login details to be emailed to me.
Comes out October 2nd, games looks intense, with a whole lot more freedom and ability to attack more! Will post more info when I find "official" stuff
Anyone else pre-ordered it yet?
nope but i will be buying it on launch

Ok I will try find out how I got it. I remember seeing a link through the FIFA forums which I can't seem to find now. I will look however.
Ok that was easy:
www.eafootballtalentscout.com
Three positions Database Editor, Database Reviewer (that's what I am) and Reference Collector. Database Editor's get paid and I was offered that job (I think Editors and Reviewers are lacking in the A-League) although I said no as you have to do a certain amount fo work per week.wellyphoenixfan2009-07-16 18:42:15

How does that work? will they ship me a game out? or just give me screenshots?
Not sure Torne and SB I don't really understand your question.
To analysis the stats or what not as a reviewer..How does that work?

How does it work?? Do they send you a game for free to review the stats and everything? or just screenshots?
Ok you only have to do one team. However you can do other teams like for example I do New Zealand, Phoenix, Chelsea and a few other A-League teams. It doesn't waste much time at all like I hadn't been on since February before a couple of days ago.
Basically you just review statistics and make suggestions on how to improve them. For example one that needs fixing is that fact Adelaide is our main rival and Melbourne is our secondary rival as you know from Fifa 09 so I made a suggestion based on the poll in the main forum to change it.
Another is for example in FIFA 09 Daniel is very over-rated (something like 64?) in FIFA 10 his stats have been fixed for a more accurate showing.

SB there is a website you go on with a login on etc with all the teams stats there.

Oh? Sweet as. Hopefully they are short in Data Reviewers for the Nix! Is there a maximum amount of Data reviewers per team?
Don't know but worldwide there is like 1400 reviewers.
I've been hotly following this for a while... today they announced custom set plays which should be real handy online!Michael2009-07-17 22:31:39
Yeah I reckon aye. Anyone playing FIFA 09 online on XBOX 360? If so, PM me your Gamertag and I will add you.
Torne2009-07-17 23:04:17
Yeah that's hot! I miss the old training grounds where you could go and practice the different layoffs etc and practice taking free kicks with the wall, but being able to customise it would be sick!
i signed up for a data reviewer, im excited about 2010
I wonder if FIFA 10 for the Wii will take advantage of the new facility that motion control thing offers as it does with the Tennis and Tiger Woods 2010. (Tiger is an awesome game to play so long as you dont stand under an overhanging light - so far, so lucky)
mean i got in for being a data analysis or w/e it was
clark007e2009-07-22 17:48:05
So did I, looking forward to it.
Did you get emailed by the community manager or just a random ea guy?
Has anyone who applied to become a data reviewer been contacted by the Producer for NZ to 'discuss their role' yet?
I haven't and was just wondering if that was normal.

i have and have logged in.
Who has the reviewer position and also what teams do you have access to?
