looks like theres already a PES7 released overseas. Does anyone
have an idea of when the release date for this will be in New
Zealand?

I seriously doubt that PES7 has come out already, there has been
little talk of and stuff about it, plus its usually winning eleven
that comes out first then PES follows.
you must be speaking bout the xbox version yeah? I heard that
sucked!
I know they say the gameplay is the best and it is, but there
are still things they could work on. from PES6 the thing that gets
me is the poisitoning of the DM who sit far too deep even if I have
their defensive tendency on normal. also a lot of the times my
fullbacks go haring to mark the striker in the middle of the pitch
and my CD push out to the wings mark runners. leaves the defence a
shambles.
nothing too big tho cos its not like i leak goals! would
like to see more set piece options, intelligent runs and a proper
search function when registering players to clubs etc.
You know you can edit the positioning of your players? And you'll
find if you switch their role from a DMF to a CMF they probably
won't sit as deep :)
I think the defence is actually quite clever sometimes, i.e if your central defender runs out to pick up a wide man, the wingback usually loops around and covers in the middle.

yup i know bout changing the positions and stuff. in my master league team I play one DMF and a CMF (Fabregas) but they still drop almost in line with the defence when the other team push forward. the game itself remedies that by making the CM/DM the first players it switches to when you try to change player.
and yea for the most part the defence is spot on, but you see
the instance you talk about right there is fine when covering a
break or summin. But I've found the CB dart wide to defend strikers
pushing wide in normal build up play. I dunno it just makes it look
as if there's too much mving around from the defenders and
stuff
also hope they fix the runs in reference to midfield free
kicks. don't have players darting to far post and penalty spots
etc.
you gonna get the game on PS3? prob be the first game I get
once i get my PS3, am dead keen to play online!!!
