We’re once again joining forces with OLSC Wellington to run a food bank drive for The Wellington City Mission.

We will be collecting at Wellington Phoenix FC men's game on the 14th at Sky Stadium (this is also 12 Pubs) and the women's game on the 21st at Porirua Park.

If you are able to, please grab some of these most required items and drop them off with our friendly collectors at both stadiums.

We will be collecting this weekend.
If you can afford too, please consider bringing a donation for the City Mission. We will be stationed on the concourse prior to entry. #LetThemKnowItsNixmasTime

Any rough estimate of when the collectors will be open for business? Not a big deal, just trying to work out the logistics of bringing a donation, hitting at least The Featherston before the match, and picking up my scarf.

More importantly, thanks for organising this!

Hey, we will be there and set up for when gates open at 4pm. If I had planned a bit better, I probably should have done a box at the Featherston for the lot doing 12 pubs. Also realise it is a bit harder to get donations on the day now New World Metro has gone.
The other option is always cash too, we will have donation buckets for the City Mission, as always though please don't feel like you have.

Big thanks to those who donated food and cash yesterday and to these legends for collecting it all.

Reminder we will be back collecting next week ahead of the women's game at Porirua Park.

Thank you once again to everyone who donated yesterday at the Wāhinix game. Couple of things to learn holding it at Porirua Park but over the two games, we have provided a number of boxes as well as cash to the Wellington City Mission.

I'm glad Security at Porirua Park were chill about bringing donation bags through the gate, I do like the friendly atmosphere at that venue.

But awesome work by everyone involved in the collection, you're a credit to the clubs. Merry Nixmas!

Was a lot easier with security as it's a Nix run venue instead unlike Sky Stadium. Why we were able to set up just inside the gate. I do rave about Porirua park games, has a really nice feel about them. Being so close to the pitch, the interaction with players and the family friendly feel.
