New Posts thing - OK, shit, that sucks. I thought I'd nailed that one.
Could y'all do me a bit of a favour? When it sends you to the empty page, grab the URL it has sent you to (the one with no posts) and then grab the number of posts in the thread at that point, and chuck it in here for me?
Understand it's fucking annoying, I'll try to get it figured out ASAP - as Patrick says, I haven't seen it so I assumed I'd fixed it...

That should take me to the last post on page 125, rather than page 127. Can you get the coding to count hidden posts for users then minus that number from the total posts, which helps decide what page to show?
Last post on Page 126 is #2510, so it must be the 28 hidden posts causing the issue. (not a coder but it sounds plausible!)

So the Phoenix Corporate Challenge looks like it is a happening thing (details to come). Who should I talk to about possibly tweaking the Promos page to include some info on it? Depending on how the Nix set it up at their end it may not be necessary but just planning ahead (and I'll be using the 4k4nix thread to post info and links anyway).

Had a similar issue the other day. Nik's answer was "503 means the unicorn gave up."
I think that means you need to put another hamster on the wheel.

Usually when going to a sub-forum e.g. http://www.yellowfever.co.nz/categories/wellington-phoenix-discussion/topics
If I try a different sub-forum they'll often work, but then I'll go back to the one that didn't and it still won't. Sometimes you can get around it by going directly to a specific topic via active topics.
No biggie, just thought you might want to know. Loving your work.
