Roy Krishna's Fiji cyclone aid package - clothing needed ASAP

Roy Krishna's putting together a cyclone aid package to sent to his home in Fiji and needs your help.

If you are able to donate old clothing, shoes, blankets or anything else that would help those in need, take it down to Newtown Park Tuesday/Wednesday morning from 8am to 11.30am or to the club office on Vivian St anytime before Thursday.

We could potentially arrange a drop off point somewhere closer to the CBD in town if that would make it easier to donate - let us know.

I think a place to drop them off in the CBD could be a good idea. Anybody have a business or place we can use and then take it all down to the Nix office in one go?

I can probably collect at my work on the Terrace. If people want to organise a time with me, email me at Dale@yellowfever.co.nz

Recently did a big drop off at the sallies but might be able to find some stuff lying around.

Would toddler clothing be useful?

My guess is that toddlers clothes would be definitely valued as a donation.

I think at any time they would be but even more so now.

Thanks Dale for letting me drop off.  It sucks being a couple of hours out of Welly but that gave me the chance to help.

It looked like I had been kicked out of the house on the train with a bag of blankets, a little duffelbag and a backpack but thats besides the point.

Would the members celebration on Thursday perhaps be an appropriate drop off point? I have a heap of shirts that (don't fit me) I don't wear anymore.

Cheers 2B.
