Due to an unfortunate incident that will not be discussed, Yellow Fever has an exciting opportunity in our News department.
Reporting directly to the Fever Elite, the ideal candidate will commitment 10-15 mins per day, ideally in the morning, to upload relevant news articles onto the Fever site. You will need to source articles from a range of media organisations including, the Dom Post, the Herald, TV3 and others. In keeping with Fever tradition, you will also need to source a relevant pun imagine to accompany each article (see http://www.yellowfever.co.nz/news).
With a competitive salary, you have the Assistant to the Senior Intern reporting to you. There are strong opportunities to progress through the ranks of Yellow Fever.
To be successful in this role you will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Strong understanding of football in a New Zealand context
- Knowing when to dismiss articles written by former All Whites that are out of touch
- Ability to ignore clickbait articles
- Strong punning skills
- Daily commitment to the course
- Prior experience working within the keys 'ctrl' 'c' and 'v'
