Unfortunately over the weekend, one of our own has sadly passed away. Steff always brought light and joy to the Fever, since his first attendance at the first ever games.

He's been a part of the Yellow Fever for as long as Yellow Fever has been around, and always had a passion for football with Glasgow Rangers FC and the Wellington Phoenix.

Steff will be remembered at the Men's game on Nov 22nd, with a minutes applause in the 55th minute, so signify both his age and Rangers' league titles won. Black armband tape will be available in the Fever for those who wish to honour him this way as well.

His funeral will be at Ninness Chapel, Porirua on Tues 18th Nov at 10:00am.

A great service. Interesting, funny, enlightening. Good to see some fans there and representatives from the Phoenix organization. A big turnout. His wife and daughter gave a great speech each. To his friends and family, my sincerest condolences and thoughts. We have sadly, lost one of our own.

I propose this chant for Saturday.

He's one of our own, he's one of our own. Rest in peace Steff, he's one of our own.

Short, simple and the truth.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Reel around The Phoenix ( Song for Steff)

55th minute with you
Well, I wouldn't say no
Oh, can’t believe that you are actually dead
Sadly that is not wrong
Tickets? Tickets? We talkin’ about tickets?
