Three for me, and two for them.

Just wondering what people on here think.

Is 176cm (approx 5 ft 9 1/2 in) too short to be a keeper?

Please give good reasons for whichever side you argue for.

Three for me, and two for them.

Not if you're only 8 years old.lol.

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

You could still grow some more. How tall was Barthez?

Google tells me he is 1.83m just over 6 foot. He always seemed short for a goalkeeper. I thought he was shorter than that.

Well I think it depends on if he/she makes up for it in other qualities e.g. hops, speed of the mark, anticipation, courage etc? Still you cant replace natural height.....

Extra height would help but worry about variables you can control, like positioning and attitude etc. Just make sure you give it 100% mate, good luck
