Former New Zealand men’s national team head coach Anthony Hudson has reportedly been shortlisted for the vacant role of Singapore national coach.
The Straits Times reports that Hudson (44) is one of 15 candidates on the shortlist from more than 60 coaches who expressed interest.
The speculation comes little more than two months after the former All Whites coach was appointed technical director for the Football Association of Thailand, his eighth job since leaving New Zealand in 2017.
Others reportedly on the Singapore shortlist include 2006 FIFA World Cup and Ballon d’Or winner Fabio Cannavaro, former Socceroo Harry Kewell, and former Central Coast Mariners and Hibernian manager Nick Montgomery.
