This ad really is crap and deserves everything it gets from "Banzai" in his humorous lampoons above - I see it as a fossil of the old "you have to like rugby to be a real Kiwi" mentality.

Why denigrate the sport of football here by suggesting that "the good ones" or "real Kiwi types" only like rugby? The grand-dad reacts indignantly as though it's not really Kiwi to like football. I thought this "real Kiwi men only like rugby" rubbish went out with the 1970's. Seems like AMP are still living in a previous era! 
You certainly won't get my custom now!!! Most football fans I know think this ad really sucks!!!
