Arnold is a fudgeing shambles! Not sure why they selected him as gaffer again after the debacle that was his previous stint in 2006-7.

It's too early to judge Arnold, this time around. No Mooy, Arzani or Boyle in UAE. Rogic missing the the quarter final, and Leckie still working back from injury.

See how he goes with 1st phase of Asian WC qualifying (which I presume starts 2020), or the Olyroos Tokyo Olympic Games qualifying. I understand he's also in charge of the Olyroos

Chris Beath not enjoying the honour of the AFC just at this moment I'd say

Please let's just sack Arnold now and get it over and done with. We need to find a proper coach in preparation for the WC qualifiers and Olympic qualifying. The guy was a disaster last time and nothing seems to have changed since.

So interesting news coming out now with UAE putting in an eligibility complaint about two Qatar players. Qatar had register both players are with the AFC as being able to represent Qatar solely on the basis that their mothers possess Qatari birth certificates yet the documents released by Ittihad (Club in Saudi) allegedly show their birthplace as being Iraq & Sudan respectively. (needs google translation) https://www.alittihad.ae/article/6966/2019/_%D8%A7...

I'm an optimistic pessimist.
I'm positive things will go wrong.

Akram Afif, who had an amazing 10 assists in the tournament, was one of their best players here in the under 20s World Cup back in 2015
