Backbencher Decor (some help needed)

My boss has asked me to solicit the yellow fever community for contributions to our decor.
As you may or may not have noticed the theme in our back bar area is mainly dominated by rugby characters and my boss would love to redress this balance by adding a more football flavored theme.
To this end he would love donations of old football pennants, scarves, flags, etc that can be hung on the walls. All donations will remain the property of the donor and will have identity tags pinned to the reverse sides(they can be claimed back at any time).
By the end of the season we would love to have something from every visiting A-league team as well.

If you would like to make a contact, just send me a PM and we can go from there or email me at Paul@backbencher.co.nz

Hmmm. I can just see see the BB adorned with Partick Thistle stuff. I can see a PM coming on.....Jag2008-03-12 10:27:10

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

You could pretend a Thistle shirt was NZ. Most people wouldn't know

As a small aside, see somebody was selling two old Mitre NZ shirts (a white one and a black one) on Trade Me a few weeks back. I was almost tempted to buy them.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Dunno what they finally went for but the Buy Now was $50 for both. I liked the look of the white one but I thought the black looked a bit strange. Looked to be in reasonable nick tho'. Time I'd got round to making my mind up, they'd disappeared Jag2008-03-12 11:01:37

He couldn't go past anything, unfortunately that was his problem.

we could all meet down the backbencher and organise a search party

it is a worry though that the only other people who've noticed he's still in there somewhere are living in Auckland and Aussie

oh well, I'll have a beer by myself  and if he comes out ok, someone can tell the landlord to throw me out of search HQ

you know us southerners - to us anything North of the Bombays is ...

o.k., I'll stop being lazy and i'll look on the tv news for stories of a man in black, with a Scots accent, roaming the streets of Pukekohe calling out " Hard News, where are you mate? It's ok to come out now, i've got some toffee pops".

I've been at Teh Kings... got distracted by beer.

Couldn't find the box I was looking for.  Buried behind the Junior News bike, the Vespa, a Persian carpet, cartons of programs and a Model Railway layout I suspect...

I've got a Werder Bremen and a TSV 1860 Munich shirt put aside Uber.  Still trying to find my U-17 World Cup banner.... and I think I have a Valencia shirt somewhere as well and a 'Loaded' era Barnet one.

Oh yeah, and a Roda JC cap... and some scarves.

I've got 15 Everton shirts from various era's, an Everton flag, a Real Madrid Shirt from when they won something (1998 I think), and Everton bar towel plus a North Ferriby Shirt that was worn in the FA Vase final at the old Wembly stadium. Anything tickle your fancy there? I've also got my old All White/Soccer NZ tie. No jokes, I was in the U23 squad a few years back (1999) and we played against Aussie. I got a total of 0 minutes on the pitch. Does that mean I can still play for England?

Its no longer a problem.

I'd offer my genuine QPR player jersey but it's worth a mint. Even more so when I finally autographed it. But I might just be able to sus a few things out for you.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
