Watching Zambia win the Cup of Nations is why I love football so much.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Ethiopia beat South Africa 2-1 this morning, they have now qualified for the final stage of CAF qualifying (Home and away play-off against another African side). The play-off will be seeded, but with a bit of luck they could get to Brazil and to the World Cup for the first time.

Fantastic own goal for the winner by the way.

Libya could yet squeak into the final 5 play-offs too EG

that'd be pretty remarkable.

South African football has been really poor for much of the past decade, apart from some ok performances at the '09 confederations cup and the '10 WC (which they wouldn't have qualified for if they weren't hosting as WC qualification was conjoint with AFCON qualification) they have been really poor. The only tournaments they have participated in since the '08 AFCON they have hosted.

True that. They travel to Cameroon for the last game, it's an elimination game basically. A point would be good enough for Libya.
