This is a hard game for me to watch. My English half is going for Engerland, but I'd love to see the English "we're going to win the World Cup, everyone else is sh*t" fans get some egg on their faces. But blood is thicker than spite, so come on Engerland!

why are you even mentioning NZ? they're not playing, this game has no bearing on us... i wasnt trying to compare anybody - can i make a statement without needing to rank the world's teams in order of quality just to appease you?
Since you're apparently outlawing slang to put across my opinion, i'll say it clearer for you;
"I believe that both sides i am currently watching are not playing anywhere near to the level that their respective supporters had hoped for or even expected prior to this match"
And my disclaimer: Since i made that assertion the quality of the game has improved and become more entertaining for the neutral (me)
