Prepare for a tongue lashing by Capello lads - you've earned it.

Should have been a win for England but not crisp enough

Well played USA. It's not unlikely that they could top this group.

keeper gaffe? Remind me.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

wtf? singling out Heskey. Lampard, Rooney, Milner and of course Green played worse today. Thought Johnson & Gerrard were probably the best for a poor England performance.

Green showed some skill in the second half (with some help from post).

Heskey wasn't that bad at all for me, Rooney didn't show anything that you would expect from him. Glen Johnson was pretty good in this game.

Not a bad result for both teams after all, still everything in their hands on the way to winning the group.

The ball in Green's hands will help

Was surprised to see GGreen in goal at all. Would have thought James or Hart were preferred. Oh well. Probably won't see him at the cup again.

James would of saved that.. My lord..

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

if I was Capello I would give Green a start in the next game because it will screw with his mind too much if he gets 'punished' for this. Now that the damage has been done it's better to keep him out there on the pitch rather than stewing inside his head on the bench.

not an inspirational performance, but i suppose they can always improve

Thought Glen Johnson showed flashes of brilliance, Lampard seemed a bit under-engaged, not persuaded by Wright-philips on that showing

Crouch was clearly onside at the end -not that i think we would necessarily have scored from the move

would like to have seen Defoe at some point, but can see why we wanted a big lad on - and Crouch did win the ball in the air

Agreed. Fantastic display.
Yup I would agree with this too.

Gerrard was probably my England man of the match. Lampard played too deep I felt and was at times invisible along with Rooney. Heskey just played like how Heskey does. No Joe Cole was disappointing and probably a mistake too. SWP was relatively ineffective and lost the ball alot. Terry looked pretty solid at the back too. Made some crucial tackles.

Lampard was playing as a holding mid. That's why he was deep. Him and Gerrard can't both go forward.

Three for me, and two for them.
