I noticed when I was reading up on the FAI's plea to FIFA to replay the Ireland vs France match they cited a game involving Bahrain and one of the 'stans.  Apparently that was replayed for some reason.  Does anyone know any of the details surrounding this, I'd be very interested to know a bit more about that as it must be as rare as a Stoke fan.

Sadly for Ireland the referee didn't make a techhnical error. He simply didn't see the blatent handball therefor made no decision at all. If FIFA allow Ireland in to the World Cup or a replay then they will open a MASSIVE can of worms for themselves.

Now they want to be the 33rd team at the World Cup.

Too much Guiness and Spuds me thinks.

Surely the Irish were scraping the bottom of the barrel with that then, as there's most certainly a huge difference.
