I don't know how many of you have heard of this guy, but I have seen a bit of him and I reckon he will be the next big thing.  You will see a lot of him in the U-20 next month (playing against NZ in one game), and rumour has it that he will make the Barcelona first team next season (after being in their youth team for a few years.

You can see him on Youtube here:

O seu pai e brasileiro, se chama Zizinho e jogava no Mexico.  Mas sua mae e mexicana, e ele se criou la (seu pai era technico de sua escola de futeboll quando era pequeno).  Tem um irmao tambem, que tambem joga pelo juvenil de Barcelona) se chama Jonathan.

Sorry, for those that don't speak Portuguese.  The guys dad was Zizinho, a brazilian who played a lot in Mexico.  Zizinho married a mexican and they have three sons, two of which play for the youth teams of Barca.  Giovani's brother is called Jonathan.

I'm seriously looking forward to seeing the Mexico vs NZ U-20s game.  My fiancee is Mexican, but we're both supporting the kiwis, even though it's a mountain for them to climb.  I think Mexico is probably one of the favourites to win in Canada (after winning the U-17 a couple of years ago).

Barca have Bojan Krkric as well, I think he is regarded as the best young talent in Europe.
