I am trying to find an example of a player who has joined the PROFESSIONAL ranks as a a goalkeeper but made his career in the outfield.
We probably know of players who get signed as say a defender and then become a midfielder but I'm looking for keeper to outfielder...

I went from keeper to striker. :)
Cornthwaite from Adelaide was reserve keeper for them in an ACL match, that's all I know of. So doesn't count.
