No interest in them succeeding whatsoever, hope the Serbs and Ghanaians really f**k them up.
You know we belong together...

I hope they do well, the same as last time. Will be good for the game in this region

Also I have a lot of Aussie mates and they support us being there.

So if we both get a win or more that will be great

I want them to win the whole thing.

Thanks for asking.

Good luck to New Zealand, and I hope they do well. If that means they do better than Australia, so be it. But I wouldn't count on it.

Anyway, to my point: Most fellow aussies I know hope NZ do well too, don't trust FFT to be representative of the average aussie view. I see on this thread though that feeling isn't mutual on the most part.

I hope Australia do well. Play fair and all. After all they are letting the Phoenix play in the A-league. And majority seem to support us.
Go the ANZAC spirit

The comments in this thread are about what I expected.
It shows the differance between Kiwis and Australians.
I asked 25 of my customers who would they support, NZ or whoever. 23 said they would support NZ. One was not sure and the other was anti NZ. We don't have that anti Kiwi thing in Oz as you have the anti Oz in NZ

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

No, we have the likes of Diego's Son popping in here and alienating people.  We have to put up with Vince Grella slagging the All Whites then behaving like a c**t, following on from years of the likes of Tiatto.

I have a pile of Aussie mates who I was drinking with in Melbourne and they perfectly understand my position and still hope the All Whites do well.

How's my driving? - Whine here

DS what is the point of you as a Fever forummer?

Three for me, and two for them.

To teach us all how to be better people.

His absence post the Socceroos game was one of the funnier moments of this year actually.

Wow such rich irony this morning.

So in Germany's opening goal, there is a man standing in an off-side position but (correctly IMO) not involved with the play.

Then the red card (which seemed a bit harsh? I'm not a rule expert).

Karma seemed to bite hard.

Oh and LOL at not being awarded a penalty for the German handball

Was never a penalty - ball to hand, and the arm was in front of the chest, not in a position away from the body.

Absent again by the looks of it.

Personally I enjoy his partcipation, engenders a bit of robust debate. I don't always agree with him but do see some of the points he tries to make. Maybe its because I've lived in Aussie and understand their psyche a little. Outwardly people think we are very similar but they are funny little buggers realy. Napier Phoenix2010-06-14 14:43:50
