Strange in that he apparently came to the A league to market himself to better leagues. Which he likely did.
Most professionals of various industries would likely be wanting to get out of Iraq, not head back to it.
27 is not ancient for a footballer as well, so it’s not like his last payday.

But its also at an age when you're probably not prioritising development over pay.
