Of course it is OK. You have to look out for yourself and take advantage of opportunities to better yourself as a player by, I am assuming, playing at a higher level.

i can prob comment on this as i left the club i love in surch of greener pastures (better/higher level of football).
 
however have not enjoyed it as much or got as much out of it as i thought i would.
 
2 quotes that might help "it doesnt matter where you get your appettie from as long as you eat at home" and "the grass is not always greener on the other side"
 
i have learnt it is best to enjoy your football, be happy where you are and you will get more out of it

I'd say, if you make the move, just make sure you don't burn your bridges when you go. You may well want to come "home" one day.
