Call me immature, but I'm taking a great deal of pleasure seeing Oz spanked like this...are the Iraqis any good or is it the heat that's affecting the Ocksters?

Game over.  Defensively absolutely disgraceful!!!!  Could have conceded about five tonight!!!!!  Missing a lot of first choice defenders - and it showed!!!!!!!!! 

Oh.  Finished 3-1 by the way. 

This is right up there with Iran '97.  I mean Oz is ok - they let us play in their league after all - but after the claptrap of last year (remember the headline "Australia roos the World") it was nice to see them hammered.

The heat sure is a good excuse for them. It's not like Australians are used to playing in hot weather or anything....

Anyway, Australia were sh*t and Iraq were good. It suprised me how easily the Aussies got rattled - particularly Grella and Neill. Aussie expected to waltz into Asia and get the top spot like it was their god given right. Reality check. Without Guus or another Super coach Australia are just another mediocre team, not world beaters.

I've got on Aus @ $1.50.  That way if they win I collect and if they lose I can gloat.

Australia (fifa ranking 48) should walk this. Thailand (fifa ranking 122)  are average. A bit like their best team losing to us.
