Is it just me , or is anyone else infuriated by excessive, slow motion replays which play over the live action? I reckon we lost about 1-2 minutes of play during the England v US game, while some 'producer' ( who clearly knows dick- all about football) was replaying Capello gesticulating on the sideline. FFS it is only a matter of time before we miss a goal. Does anybody know who the host broadcaster is, so I can complain?

That was the only game I even noticed it happen in (England vs USA) and yeah it was infuriating. At one point they showed a minutes worth of replays while play went on,then we got replays to show what we missed while they were showing replays!
I assumed it was for the USA audiences benefit (they love that stuff),as it was the only game where this was even close to being a problem.
Allegedly

I thought the super slo mo shots of a bellowing Capello were quite revealing. You could see all his back fillings and what he had for breakfast.
It's irritating but it's not going to go away unfortunately.

Over here it was hilarious. Gerrard scores, cue about ten replays of the goal. Green scores, no replay at all. ITV even show a replay of an attempt on goal by England before finally replaying the Green goal a few minutes after the fact.
