Would the club or the YF consider a minutes silence for Ray Jones who died last night in a car crash. Very talented 18-yo according to QPR fans, LG you confirm?

No disrespect, but that would be stretching it a bit.

I dunna support QPR but he was a 19 year old player, rumoured to be signed by Fulham this year.

Was a very promising QPR striker with heaps of potential.  The world at his feet so to speak. Was also an England youth international. Tragic loss of a promising young life. Very sad indeed. Lovely thought Wolfben but probably a bit of a stretch as he wasn't well known in this part of the world.

signed a 3 1/2 year deal to stay at QPR. Thanks for the thought. Still the most important New Zealanders had heard of him p- A future England International if ever. Was due to turn 19 next week.

It is sad news, but at the risk of sounding completely heartless, there are too many minute's silences and it completely devalues them.

As football fans we spend most of our time dishing out crap to any player that plays against us, and I can't really change that mentality simply because someone has died, especially if I've never seen them play.

Keep signs of condolences restricted to players that have played for the club, or those that have represented the national side (of the country the club is in) at the highest level.

I'm still reeling from the ridiculous events following George Best's death. Admittedly a gifted player, but why every club in the country were supposed to have had a minute's silence is still beyond me.

Keep them relevant and pertinent to the fans of the club, and it actually means something.
