good luck to you in champs league, at least we are still in europe unlike our other co-efficents Aberdeen, seriously scotland should be putting forward teams that CAN compete in either UEFA competition ie. Rangers, Celtic, Hearts, Hibs not teams like Aberdeen, Gretna or Dunferlime!

Umm Aberdeen only have to win against copanhagan at home to go through...

Not sure if the hearts or hibs are capable of it.

Yeah. New rules in the CPL will mean Celtic and Rangers will qualify into groupe stages automatically (as long as they finish 1-2) and 3rd place has one round of qualifying to get into group stages i think.

That's ridiculous really if true. There's no way Scotland deserve three Champions League spots.

Nope, Rosenborg had to play the third qualifying round. Beat Tampere United of Finland to get into the group stages.

UEFA president Michel Platini's determination to see more national champions in the competition sees 22 clubs qualifying automatically, including the Scottish champions.

Five more places will go to the 15 leading countries in Europe, decided through qualifying rounds, and the remaining five reserved for the champions of the lowest 40 clubs.

Platini also confirmed proposals to allow domestic cup winners to qualify for the Champions League have been shelved, but not scrapped altogether.

So the champions go through in scotland, with 2nd and 3rd having to qualify i think.
