Nigeria gives up U17 event.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I find this interesting mostly in respect of the budget that they are seeking. Thirty million dollars????? Surely something wrong there. The Womens U17 we are running here has comparable numbers and NZ is certainly NOT  spending anything like that sum... nothing like it at all.
Nigeria already has the infrastructure in place and has hosted some big tournaments before...   mmm weondering if that big a budget request is to allow for some other behaviour....

The Nigerian government had already said that funding the $30 million budget was not a priority.

I'll be happy to give them the $30 million dollars. All they need to do is to e-mail me their bank account details...
