NZ Football survey

Now, I just got this email (read below) in my inbox. Not addressed to me (the only registered football player at my address this year), but to my son (who was registered last year, but definitely not this year). I am surprised, with the terrific online tool Comet that looks after the integrity of all registrations, that a) my son was sent this and b) I wasn't.
Well, I guess, if my son is lucky enough to be selected, we can give feedback on the survey about it!
I wonder who else has had this experience today?
By the way, I will also send a response back to NZF about this.

Voice of Participant Survey Pre-Notification

July 2019

Dear ******

This letter is to inform you that New Zealand Football have teamed up with Sport New Zealand for a key research project on understanding how players view their football experience with their club. This project is called the ‘Voice of Participant (VoP)’ and aims to understand what is important to players, how clubs are performing against your expectations and how we might improve your playing experiences.

A random sample of players will be selected across the country to represent the views of club members. If you are selected, you will receive an email inviting you to participate in the survey, in the next few weeks. This email invitation will come from Nielsen and will contain a link to the Nielsen survey.

Nielsen, an independent research company, is carrying out this confidential survey on behalf of Sport New Zealand and New Zealand Football. Results will be reported in a way that will not allow individuals to be identified.

The survey will only take around approximately 10 minutes to complete. It’s very important that as many players and parents selected as possible, complete the survey. These results will provide guidance to New Zealand Football on how we can help clubs improve the experience their members have.

Yours sincerely,

Megan Crockett

Yeah, my 11 year old son got one (via me). He actually is playing this season though!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I can't help thinking that the complaints I hear are rarely about the clubs or anything the clubs have control over...

I must correct my first post here. I did actually receive the email. It went to a different email address. However, I remain surprised that players who are not registered would receive it.
