Probably more fitting when all the teams have played the same amount of games, but it's an ongoing thing anyway.. keen for some depate that doesn't invloves the Vuvu's.

I think Enyeama (Nigeria 'keeper) has been fantastic, although had a couple of poor moments in the Greece game, one of which lead to a goal, understandable considering the bombardment of shots raining down on him, predominantly from Messi.

Due to his blunder gifting Greece the winner, I'm going to go with Forlan, who has been far and away the best Uruguayan player, this will (hopefully) change once Group Stage Round 2 has finished.

Best to watch has been Messi - in combo with Tevez especially.

I thought he was better once Aguero came on. But he has been good to watch.

Nobody gets close to Messi

Ryan Nelsen.

Unquestionably.....
Holds the side together. If you are a standout player in a small weaker team then you must be good. How many of the other "stars" would shine as brightly if they were playing for a minnow team?

Really ?

I thought he'd been flashy but lacking in substance.  Collapses easily and too selfish.

How's my driving? - Whine here

yea was taking the micky, he's been terrible. i'd go as far as saying he's been the biggest under performer at the cup so far.

How could you not say Messi? He's basically walking on water atm. Looking forward to seeing him against some quality opposition though.

What he said. This guy has a massive future if he maintains this sort of form.

Yep, loving Villa.

Pretty happy with my selection of Ozil, Villa and Sneijder at the start of the world cup for my fantasy team. Sneijder has had a huge year with Inter, surely a finalist for the Ballon D'or (if thats how you say it) this year.

What do you think the team of the tournament will be?

--------????---------
-???--???-???-???--
Muller-Schweinsteiger-Ozil-Sneijder
--Klose/Forlan--David Villa--

Klose edges out the Argentinians Tevez and Higuian from last nights performance, but Forlan could be there?

Fill in the blanks. Could Nelsen be in contention for a centre back position? or is that stretching it too far?

Kingson

Lahm - Lugano - Mertesacker - Coentrao

van Bommel - Schweinsteiger

Muller       -        Sneijder           -         Ozil

Villa

So far anyway. Semi's could change things as could the final.

Just my opinion too before anyone has a hernia over it.

Hang on i'll edit it because that formation's sh*t and it's hard to fit in the best players.

Three for me, and two for them.
