Would be credit to the keepers if it did

It would, to bloody good. it's looking like a draw at the moment, Rapids are parking the bus for a draw imo.

That is bullsh*t.. The timbers need to really start picking things up away otherwise they're f**ked. They can do it, but if they keep cocking up in away games, they've got no chance.Azevo2011-06-12 16:28:24

Yeah, they really shouldn't of let that in, that was really lucky for the Rapids. I think it was pretty evenly matched, but the Rapids came out on top.

It seems like the defense is just making text book error and Perkins has to clean up their mess, I've been noticing that on away games a lot.

Next match is against New York at home, that'll be even tougher I'd imagine..

Does anyone else watch the Timbers in 30?

Recent one has cooking with Perkins:

Just watching those highlights again, those flippin' keepers were just not letting anything past.. till that lucky break for the rapids. I still think that was extremely lucky for the rapids to win that..

That goal for the rapids just was sloppy I just see it as lucky.Azevo2011-06-16 16:47:35

Timbers v Red bulls tomorrow at 2pm, If the Timber were playing like they were last weekend, they are gonna be in for a bloody good chance. Another lost would put severe doubts on the season for them.

If Perkins is on form again, then the Red Bulls could have real trouble scoring. Will be interesting to see how Perkins deals with Henry though

Watched Henry a few weeks ago, still able to dance down the sidelines, am thinking we're pretty lucky to have Horst, Futty was always going to be second to him, now we're gonna be able to see whether Horst is deserved of his first-team spot. A part of me just wants to see Futty as the first team choice over Horst.

Timbers just took the lead, 2 goals in 2 minutes after being down 1-0. Amazing stuff. I'm not watching, just following the Timbers twitter updates.

3-1 now, own goal by Stephen Keel. This could hopefully be the turning point of the Timber's season.

I can't believe it. Henry sent off in stoppage time, then Portland handballed it in the box to give NYRB a penalty. Donavon calmly scored. FT 3-3, Timbers blew that.

Wasn't able to watch it, bit pissed about that, but really to have a lead like that at home and blow it like that, is really not good. Am gonna have to check out the highlights and match report, gah, was looking forward to this match.

I thought we had that in the bag at 3-1. It was a stupid penalty to give away, there wasn't really a chance at goal from the cross, the single NY player was covered by the Timbers defense.

Still don't know what the red card was for, such a bizarre second half.

Horst going down would of been a big blow, having two of your best defenders out is not a good. I think that the penalty missed by the Timbers was terrible, and then the penalty at the end for the handball was just unlucky, again it seems luck had turned against the Timbers haha.

The red was for Henry patting Moffat "violently" on the back of the head making up for a prior event between the two, then the ref just did a dick head thing and turned it into violent conduct from Henry, dick head ref and a terrible call.

Definitely a weird second half, really disappointing loss I thought, this can't keep happening and they better start winning on the road or they may just end up the typical wooden spoon expansion team.

HOWEVER, the Timber have only played 14 matches as opposed to 12 other teams in the league who have played between 1-4 matches more than them. With Galaxy having played the most.

Still time eh?

Hopefully they can do a Melbourne Heart and make a resurgence in the second half of the season, hopefully they just don't leave it too late like the Heart did.

I'm off to the States for the next couple of weeks, will be in LA for the game against FC Dallas, and then in Kansas City for the home game against Kansas. Hopefully I can somewhere to watch the game with Kansas fans.

Hoping to be able to find an MLS shop that sells Timbers jerseys, am quite keen to get one. Hoping to get along to the Kansas home game agaisnt the Rapids, but its looking unlikely at this stage.

Thought I had a game lined up at Home Depot but now turns out it's the same day as the wedding I'm travelling for so no Chivas vs Fire for me, then July 4th already going to Baseball and July 6th in San Diego.

Curse you MLS schedule!!!

I do like how they sell replica shirts that are a different material to the actual players jerseys for cheaper in the MLS store, makes it much easier to afford them.

Just got to watch the highlights. Canadian or not, I somewhat dislike Dwayne de Rosario...

Found out a couple days ago that my Timbers Army scarf is in the mail. Kickass! Doing a scarf swap with a mate - he's getting a Nix scarf as soon as they're available.

I also do not like him Robb. And not because he left TFC for NYRB.  Just don't like him.

Timbers up against Dallas at 12.30pm on Sunday.

Seeing as this is away, I am not to sure how we'll perform. I am very worried about the Timbers on the road, I believe they're gonna have a big chunk of away games coming up soon, as from july 16th, to the end of the season, 12 of the 20 games are all away. So they better get their asses in to gear and start winning away.

Also, Purdy should be back from the Gold Cup which is good!Azevo2011-06-24 23:16:11
