Saw on the worldgame video a story about Athletico Miniero and Queensland Roar forming a partnership. It seems that it will involve the 2 teams sharing ideas with Athletico learning about the comercial side of the game while in return they'll look to help out with youth development.
Essentially Athletico to learn about data base management and how to create commercial parnterships, Roar to get coaching and youth development advice.
This sounds like great news and a good deal for both clubs. The most exciting part is a suggestion that there could be the chance for young players and coaches to head to Brazil during the off-season. This sort of thing is what we need to develop as a football country. Sounds like a much more fruitful and long-term plan than Perth with Man City (what's happened with that anyway).

Well that is good news, despite the fact I despise the roar and Atletico there are upsides, maybe Phoenix could partner with Botafogo in rio seeming as Daniel came from there and it is my team there too. They could benefit greatly from the brazilian coaching and technical know how, and of course the up and coming players. At the moment, Botafogo is leading the way in Brazil showcasing new stars that were previously unheralded.
Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro and Wellington Phoenix, my two teams til death do us part.
