Really looking forward to these games, hoping not too many of the 8am games go into ET, as I am supposed to be going to work after they finish. (Might actually just go in to work and watch the Greece game there...)

Guaranteed to have a South American Semi-Finalist with Brazil, Chile, Colombia & Uruguay together, the winner of that lot will face France, Germany, Nigeria or Algeria (1982 revenge for Algeria?), while the other side of the draw looks a little bit easier as one semi finalist will come from Netherlands, Mexico, Greece, Costa Rica and the other from Argentina, Switzerland, Belgium & USA.

Chile to knock out Brazil

Yeah I've put money on that result, think it'll be the one upset of the 2nd round, think the other expected teams will progress.

I reckon Mexico could cause an upset too. 

I fancy Mexico and USA to go through. It's curtains for Uruguay without Suarez and all the other favourites should go through. Would love to see Chile win but just can't see Brazil going out so early.

Its about this time where the dutch implode on themselves through egos and arrogance. That they got to the last WC final was a miracle.

Apparently, van Gaal's ability to manage the huge egos in his squad has been a big part of their success so far, but I agree - if the going gets tough, there's plenty of scope for things to get ugly.

I'm hoping they can keep it together and finally go all the way. One of the downsides of that though, is that it'll mean knocking out Mexico on Monday which means no more Herrera.

Come on Chile. Hope they stop this Brazil jizz fest.
