The USA!!! (not counting the hosts of course.)

From fifa.com

So far, a total of 674,403 tickets have been sold, corresponding to 90% of the tickets made available to date. Of those tickets, 53.6% (361,582) have been purchased by South African residents. The foreign country that has purchased the most tickets is the United States (84,103 tickets), followed by the UK (48,388), Germany (25,112), Australia (17,876), Canada (11,662), Switzerland (11,045), Japan (10,558) and Brazil (8,006).

That was after the Croatia game, it was great there that night.

I should put some of my World Cup videos and photos on here from Germany.

To be honest, I don't want to go to SA next year (I reckon it's unsafe) but I recommend to save the bikkies for Brazil.

Kinda interesting seeing that Canada was eliminated before the first phase of sales, and the NT tends to draw very poor crowds. Probably a bunch of Quebecois off to cheer for France

I haven't any stats to back this up but if you take into account the fact that Brazils population is far, far larger than that of SA then it will probably be just as dangerous/more dangerous in Brazil.

No no no. Think about it, Brazil, a proper footballing country, hot chicks, good weather. A proper world cup.

Yes there may be crime, but I'd say it would be limited to dodgy parts of the bigger cities such as Sao Paolo and Rio.

Germany was a 'proper' World Cup. Next year isn't. That's what I'm getting at.

Yeah Brazil will be an awesome world cup. The security and facilites will be top class and it will be a dress rehearsal for the Rio Olympics so expect a great sepctacle in 2014!

Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro and Wellington Phoenix, my two teams til death do us part.

Surely you could say the same about SA?

As I understand it Jo'bug is very dangerous yet other areas (such as Cape Town) are relatively safe.

The crime rates seems high in SA for the population it has.

It just isn't grabbing me as a 'destination'. Germany in 06 (which I went to) was great, but South Africa, I'd reckon I'd struggle to entertain myself in between games (which was easy to do in Germany).

South Africa just isn't doing it for me. Period.

South Africa has the highest murder rate on this planet.

First or ninth, SA is not the safest place to be.
You are right to say that not all areas are bad, but 2 of our games are in Transvaal= not the best place to be.
I have lived and played football in SA and you could not pay me to go.
