I wonder how extra time in the round of 16 games will affect those who did it? And penalty shootouts too. Physically and psychologically draining I'd guess

Where are the matches Dale?

Just as an extention of Conan's point I was thinking that if you have Extra timed in the north, then have to do it again in the northern heat it will be even harder.

annoyingly written for an American audience, but some stats on just how good Messi is:

Didn't know where to put it so thought it could add to the hype for the next round here...

Ditto. Think you got them right guys. Brazil could implode, mind you, so could the Dutch.

Hard to see this happening to the Dutch now. They have managed to keep it together on-field despite being a goal down in three of their games, and have kept it together off-field despite being in each other's company for a month.

What if Robben dives twice too many, gets sent off and then the Dutch miss out on a penalty to get them through? ;)

Will be interesting to see how accurate you are as your picks in the past have not been that great

Wow touchy. Well I'm not dude and I try not to make predictions about outcomes of football matches. Whether or not anyone on here is an expert or not, it is just a educated guess.

I think Netherlands and Argentina should win, other than that the rest are a lottery. France and Colombia have both looked great but are still outsiders to win against more fancier opposition.

I think Colombia, Germany, Argentina, Netherlands.

I know this is off topic.....Just put Rm 25 bet on Belgium to win the World Cup @ 13.00 . Mrs KM42 put 25 on Brazil @ 3.75...

France, Brazil, Netherlands, Argentina

Final: Netherlands v Germany

It's all part of a cosmic plan for Holland to get revenge for defeat in the '74 and '78 Finals by beating Argentina in the semi and Germany in the Final. To win by a four goal margin just to rub it in...

However, defeat to Germany in the Final would be a close second to German occupation in World War Two as a catastrophe...

Real pity 4Kings advertised on tickets for early morning game showing: 'includes 1 non-alcoholic drink or a meal' - turns out it's 'money off the cost of a meal'- not quite the same thing. I'm sure they could have managed toast & jam for $5! Disappointed and spoiled the experience (mind you Germany / France not exactly exciting per se)

Think it took 40 fouls before the first card was shown in the later game. Fernandinho had a free reign to lump Rodriguez off the park.

Neymar gone. Thiago Silva suspended. Germany should finish them.

Three for me, and two for them.

He'd score 20 for the Nix - or anyone else in the A-League.

Looked to me like Neymar was deliberately taken out.
