Henry Gray's Harrogate drew with Chesterfield over night.

Truly bizarre moment where a sideline Chesterfield player about to be subbed on, cops a yellow for kicking the ball away from a Harrogate player seeking to take a quick throw.

The Chesterfield coach seems to then change his mind re which sub he will bring on, and the sideline Chesterfield player cops a 2nd yellow for walking back to the subs bench?? Chesterfield down to 10 men!!

I'm not entirely sure this fits the thread, but it's very much the kind of thing you'd only see in the Canadian Premier League. Inter Toronto forward Tomasz Skublak also works as a real estate agent when he's not playing in the CPL. This is how he celebrated his first goal of the season:

Nah, still don't agree. The defender is right there and the keeper only handles the ball, very comfortably under no pressure, because of an error. The attacker had no chance of getting the ball - error or not. Normally a dogso would be a foul stopping a chance, there was never a chance here.

Youre welcome to disagree, but it just shows ignorance of the LOTG. I've seen a couple of refs other than myself touch on this one and the agreement on red card is unanimous.

Once the keeper has handled the ball he is out of the play for DOGSO consideration, the circumstances he handled the ball under are completely irrelevant.

There's just too many hoops to jump through for this to ever be considered a chance, the rules might be too restrictive for this instance but its never a chance.
