Tricky. Argentina were one of my favourite teams last world cup (should never have lost to Germany!). Messi and Tavez were my favs. They may be a great team again this World Cup even though they have struggled in qualifying.... but it'd still be awesome in a way if they don't make it...

I, for one, hope they make it. I know, underdogs are great, and all that, but it wouldn't be the same without the Argies. So come on Javier, Leo, Emiliano and co!

Draw keeps Argentina alive whatever else happens.
Draw could be enough for Uruguay for the playoff spot provided Ecuador don't win against Chile.
Uruguay in better form than Argies, this is definitely worth watching if you can.

if Argentina do fail to qualify (which seems hard to believe, as i type it) the clowns who appointed Maradona will have easily eclipsed the buffoons who appointed McClaren
and if they do make it, what will the Argentinian FA do with Maradona??

Certainly rivals brian mckechnie for quirkiness (for those who dont know, he kicked the '78 grand slam winning penalty for the all blacks and also faced the underarm delivery in '81)
