Probably been done, but what would your world 11 look like?
(Assuming 4-4-2)
GK-Casillas
LB-Lahm
RB-Ramos
CB-Toure+Kompany
LM-Ronaldo
RM-Ribery
CM-Fabregas+Gerrard
ST-Villa,Messi
Players must still be playing professionally too!

Gerrard and Kompany definitely don't belong on that list. I'll have a think about it and post my 11 later.

Not really I still think Buffon is the best. Casillas a close 2nd however.

OK, here goes my team:
GK: Casillas
RB: Bosingwa
CB: Vidic
CB: Simunic
LB: Zhirkov
CM: Fabregas
CM: Senna
CM: Pirlo
LW: Messi
RW: C. Ronaldo
CF: Torres
I dare any striker in the world to get past that CB combo...Balkan brute force mixed with exceptional skill. Too bad they'd probably try to strangle each other on the pitch...el grapadura2008-09-10 11:04:33

Tad biased seeing as you claim to support Chelski and Bayern.

Kahn was always massively overrated as far as I'm concerned. Cech was superb when he first came to Chelski, but has not been quite the same since that horrible head injury. Buffon is still all class, but I'd take Casillas over him any day.

That 11 would probably work better as a 4-3-3.
