Write the Future is obvious, the pledge thing maybe a bit cringeworthy but I kinda like it.

Love Babeto's baby celebration (@0.07) in '94
Leaving aside Pele, for me it's Junior, Socrates and then Babeto as choice Brazilians.

I love the pledge one, although it is cheesy! Clapham saying he is not there to make up the numbers is kind of funny, hopefully he makes it on to the field (that is not a dig at Aaron, I think he's a great player and I hope the Nix pick him up!).

Introducting, the "Nike: Write The Future" curse:
Drogba - Injured pre tournament, 1 goal so far, almost certainly out in the group stages.
Cannavaro - A shadow of his former self, shown up against Paraguay and New Zealand.
Rooney - 0 goals, couldn't score in a brothel, outburst at fans.
Walcott - Not in the final 23.
Ribery - 0 goals, on the first plane home.
Ronaldinho - Not in the final 23.
Ronaldo - 1 goal, perhaps an exception but still not entirely impressive so far.
It even extends to other sports...
Federer - Struggled to overcome some no mark in the 1st round of Wimbledon.

I like the World Vision one that reminds me that 20 kids die for every match I watch.
960 kids and counting.
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on my insides...
