Kiwis overseas eligible to play in 2012 olympics
All players participating in the preliminary and final competition of the Men's Olympic Football Tournament London 2012 shall be born on or after 1 January 1989, with the exception of a maximum of three players who do not meet this age limit who may also be included in the official list of players for the final competition.
So we have to remove Michael Fitzgerald from the list, same thing for Reid and Kayne. But we can add Dylan Windust (Seiritsu) and Luke Adams(Coventry academy squad?) plus James Musa and Marco Rojas who play at the phoenix.
Hoping to do a GAP year then. Will be awesome to see those two events.
"NEKO VUJEVICH
Gold Coast, Australia
Born in Hamilton, this 18-year-old has double-dipped internationally. He played age-group football for New Zealand before joining the Australian Institute of Sport and then playing for Australia's under-17 and under-18 sides. He missed out on their under-20s and has committed to playing for New Zealand again. A strong centre back, Vujevich plays in the Australian youth league."
Also, I assume that Vujevich plays for Gold Coast United in the youth league?

Just before half spared the strong playing Anthony Bentem his team through a nice sliding surface for the Spartan goal and intercepted a higher probability of Helmond striker Joost Habraken. Before playing Bjrn Vlasblom excellent. In the 60th minute striker took Jesse Mayele, Shayron Curiel who left the 0-2 in his lap. Afterwards, Young Sparta not been in trouble and played the game fine. Thus a great victory for the first team coach Geert Meijer.

Good to see so many youngsters overseas making a go of going / becoming professional.
Its heartning when i think of the future, especially since there actually seems to be a couple midfielders amongst that lot, our national teams achilles heal.
