This is a significant trial - MSV Duisberg only just got relegated from the second division and have bounced between the first and second over the past two decades....I have little doubt they will return to the second league almost immediately. The quality of football in the third league isn't that rubbish given Germany maintains such an excellent training and development programme - I would take a New Zealander in the 3.liga over entering league one in the UK any day. Unfortunately he doesn´t get a contract in Duisburg and now he´s going back to New Zealand.
