Without double checking, would Paulsen be the first kiwi to play in the Ekstraklasa?

Depends on your definition of Kiwi. All White Themi Tzimopoulos had a few seasons in the Ekstraklasa with Korona Kielce near the end of his career.

Looks like 39 yr old Themi has finally retired. Played 8 games in the 2023/24 season with Kozani in the Greek 2nd tier.
