Being drafted is different to having a contract. yet to see any confirmation he has a deal. Certainly not on the roster.

If you have a look at their U23 team, Luis Esteves is there - NZ born Player

So where is he.

By memory his only real failing was he was slow as hell.

Yeah when I have seen him a couple of times, he did not strike me as having the pace to be a striker. He may be better suited as an attacking midfielder.

Grumpy old bastard alert

Currently at St John's University (quite a major soccer college I think) in the States after previously playing for University of Mobile and Seattle Sounders u-23:

He played for both Seattle Sounders u-23 and the University of Mobile last year.

Seattle u-23 are amateur so it was also possible to play for a college side and retain his amateur status.

He was ripping it up in the NSWPL a couple seasons ago on his summer break from college. Was offered a academy spot with us but opted to finish his college (mainly cuz it was unpaid).

Have a bit of a google on University of West Virginia Mens' Soccer with his name and all will be revealed. Entirely adequate for your club and level of play. He might be a bit better than that but playing for you guys will make that clear or not. He might just be one of those guys that can't play A League level but excel at State level, who knows? Great kid with good character though.
